Join us for the opening night gala of the 2nd Annual Newport Beach Luau, Saturday, May 23, 2020.
In a traditional celebration of Hawaiian culture with music, dance, food, and pyrotechnics, the Newport Beach Luau returns to the Back Bay for an authentic Hawaiian luau without the plane fare.
This summer kickoff celebration will feature traditional Polynesian-style entertainment, including Kane dancers, fire-throwing, hula dancers and so much more. Learn about the history of the luau told through music, dance, drums, and chants. Enjoy a delicious Hawaiian-style dinner of grilled chicken teriyaki, fresh fruits, Kalua pulled pork and more. Watch the traditional Samoan pig ceremony!
Sip cocktails from the Tiki Bar and be greeted by our ukulele player, with a special guest appearance, so bring the kids. Savor the sunset on the Back Bay and treat yourself to this amazing luau experience.
Parking is included.
Note: If you cannot attend our May 23rd event, we are hosting a second luau on September 5, 2020.
