Project Description

Newport Beach’s Pet-Friendly Resort

Going on vacation doesn’t mean you have to leave your pet at home or alone in a pet boarding facility. After all, your furry four-legged pets are your family too and our dog-loving staff is dedicated to making every single guest—pampered pets included—feels at home during their stay along California’s beautiful Newport Coast. Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is proud to be the only dog-friendly resort in the Newport Beach area located on a private beach. We don’t just allow four-legged companions, we encourage them, providing complimentary doggie treats upon arrival.

Affordable Pet Registration

A small fee of $2 per day, $10 per week, or $30 a month will be charged per pet for all resort guests; the most affordable rate in Newport Beach. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and are prohibited in the resort’s restrooms, showers, or inside cottages. Two pets allowed per beach accommodation. All pets must be licensed and vaccinations current. View complete rules for pets and breeds.

Pet-Friendly Activities

The real fun doesn’t begin until after check-in when you and your pup can explore the natural surroundings of the Back Bay and go for morning walks along the beach directly outside our beachfront cottages and beachfront RV Sites—all of which have plenty of room to sprawl out and unwind on the grassy courtyard. Any member of our staff can direct pet owners to a number of pet-friendly destinations in Newport Beach, including Fashion Island and Balboa Island.

Most Affordable Pet-Friendly Resort in Newport Beach

To ensure pets continue to be welcomed in our seaside city, please always pick up after them, keep them leashed, and be kind and considerate. We have waste bags for your convenience located along the beach promenade. We also provided an off-leash dog run located by Restroom #21, since Newport Beach doesn’t permit dogs on the beach.

We have had many wonderful doggie guests over the years and hope to book your stay with us and bring your furry “kids” too!
