Water Activities

Located right on the water on the Upper Newport Back Bay, Newport Dunes is the ideal resort for getting out on the water. Take a double-kayak out on the bay to see the local wildlife – the Back Bay is a Nature Reserve and is 752 acres and home to up to 35,000 birds! Or if you prefer more of a workout, try out a Stand-Up Paddle board. We even have Radiant Rides, which are guided sunset rides on LED lit SUPs.

During the summer months, thrill seekers love our Inflatable Water Park. Jump on floating trampolines, scream down epic slides, or crawl on the inflatable obstacle course. Open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend daily and Friday – Sunday, September 9th through October 9th.

Family Activities

Our Moe B’s Friends program offers activities for kids of all ages. Parents can relax knowing their kids are safe and having fun! Crafts, especially tye-dyeing tees, is a huge hit with young campers. Organized games like volleyball tournaments and horseshoe are a fan favorite. Clubhouse games like foosball and ping-pong are always popular.

The entire family will enjoy BINGO nights with prizes! During the summer, grab your chairs, blankets, and snacks and head to the sand for Movies on the Beach. Family-friendly flicks play every Friday and Saturday all season long (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend).

Newport Dunes is located on Back Bay Loop, a 10.5 mile bike and pedestrian trail that borders the Upper Newport Ecological Reserve. This reserve totals 752 acres and features miles of hiking and biking trails fit for those who love an outdoor adventure. No need to pack your bikes! Rent beach cruisers from our onsite market.

For water lovers, exploring the bay by double-kayak or stand-up paddle board is always a hit! Our onsite water sports rentals include double-kayaks, SUPs, pedal boats and Duffy boats. Whether you are looking to do some bird watching or to admire multi-million dollar homes and yachts, Newport Bay has a corner to explore that will exceed all your expectations. Pools, Spas & Cabanas

Resort guests can discover our refreshing pools. Check out our fan-favorite horseshoe jacuzzi, where guests like to socialize and unwind. Or take a dip in the refreshing 200-sqft wading pool or swim laps in the 1650-sqft heated lap pool.

Pool cabanas are available for resort guests to rent. They feature a back patio with plush seating, drapes for privacy and a large front lounge area. 6-person and 8-person cabanas are available.
