Newport Dunes is located in the heart of Newport Beach with the perfect beach backdrop, making it the perfect venue for emerging music artists, festivals, cultural shows and a wide selection of entertainment events. With event spaces for both indoor, outdoor and under the tent, we can host events as intimate as five to as extravagant as 5,000 attendees.

General Information

Tunes at the Dunes tickets are sold online through EventBrite. Please note all ticket prices are subject to change at any time.

  • All attendees are required to bring a digital copy of their ticket to enter the venue. Children under 10 are free but must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
  • Unless otherwise stated, shows will take place rain or shine.
  • Lineup and schedule subject to change.
  • For everyone’s safety, all attendees are subject to search on entry to venues.
  • Re-entry is allowed at all venues, subject to capacity.

There are many alternative forms of transportation to Newport Dunes Events; we recommend you Uber or Lyft to the event for your safety and easy enjoyment. However, we also do offer self-parking and valet services.

Parking Rates
There’s so much to do at and around Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort that you may not need a car! Self-parking is as follows:

  • 0 – 30 minutes: Free
  • 30 minutes – 2 hours: $10
  • 2 – 5 hours: $15
  • 5 – 8 hours: $20
  • 8 – 24 hours: $25

Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is located only 12 minutes from John Wayne Airport (SNA) and 45 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Newport Dunes Events has a zero tolerance policy for all illegal activities. Illegal drug use is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED and all city and state laws will be enforced inside the festival. Underage drinking will not be tolerated. You must be 21 or older to drink alcohol. These policies are designed to protect guests and the community from alcohol-related incidents. Guests are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.

Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is a dog-friendly resort; however, for the safety of everyone, animals and pets are prohibited at Newport Dunes events unless otherwise stated. Dogs also have sensitive hearing and loud noises can frighten them, so please leave them at home. An exception is made for certified trained service animals for guests with disabilities and must be on a leash at all times.


Bags, Backpacks, Purses, Handbags, Totes, Fanny Packs are permitted, with a maximum size of 20″ x 15″ x 9″.

Backstage or event level access is only permitted for event staff and talent only. Guests found in these locations without the proper credentials will be subject to ejection and/or arrest.


Guests are permitted to bring non-professional, non-flash digital photography to most events; however, video recording devices, audio recording devices, Go Pro cameras, monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, and cameras with telephoto or interchangeable lenses (professional photography equipment) are not permitted without proper credentials. This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any electronic device at their discretion.

For most Newport Dunes events and concerts, children under 10 years of age do not require a ticket to be admitted; however, all children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

Food & drinks will be served at the events. Guests are not permitted to bring food and/or beverage items into the venue during events. The only exception is unopened plastic water bottles, one liter or smaller. Glass bottles or metal cans are strictly prohibited.


Lost guests and children should be directed to any one of our Event Staff. Parents or friends looking for a lost child/guest should contact the nearest Event Staff or Security Officer immediately.

Newport Dunes is not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged. All lost/misplaced items found at the event will be taken to the resort’s Guest Services. Please contact Guest Services with a description of the item and the date the item was lost. All unclaimed found items will be discarded or donated 30 days after they are found. Credit cards will be destroyed 24 hours after they are found. Newport Dunes management assumes no responsibility for items lost at events.

For security, we ask that all guests and attendees bring a digital copy of their ticket. EventBrite automatically provides a mobile ticket pass for your convenience. On rare occasions for stolen tickets, guests should contact local law enforcement prior to their point of purchase.

  • Any Item Deemed Inappropriate by Festival Security


We do not offer refunds on events as all sales are final, unless under special circumstances.


Wristbands are handed out at the box office, located at the entrance to the venue. Once you present your E-ticket to our box office staff, you will receive your wristbands. Wristbands are also non­transferable, non­exchangeable and cannot be replaced.
