Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina is located in the heart of beautiful Newport Beach, California, directly on the calm waters of the Back Bay. Our serene beachfront setting offers panoramic harbor views, golden sunsets, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere perfect for destination and local weddings alike.
We offer multiple waterfront ceremony and reception locations including:

Back Bay Bistro – Elegant indoor/outdoor with 180° water views (ceremony up to ~200; dinner & dancing up to ~160)
Bayview Room & Garden – Garden and indoor space with bay views (~120 guests)
Marina Terrace – Expansive waterfront lawn ideal for large celebrations (~350 dinner & dancing)

Our venues can host intimate weddings of 25 guests up to large celebrations of 400+ guests, depending on layout and location. We’ll help customize the floor plan to match your vision.
Yes. Catering is handled by our in-house culianry team, with customizable menus ranging from light bite and buffets to formal plated dinners. We also offer full bar and beverage service, including hosted, cash, and hybrid bar options.

Yes. We provide a preferred vendor list for florals, photography, entertainment, and décor, and wedding planning, but couples are welcome to bring in approved outside vendors. Additional insurance is required from all vendors providing services on premises.
Spring and fall are especially popular, with mild, comfortable temperatures, while even winter wedding enjoy Southern California’s beautiful coastal climate. Tents can be rented to provide additional comfort.
Summers offer long, golden sunsets over the bay. (Please note that during peak summer months, the beach is busier with more people on the property which can reslt in additional activity and ambient noise.
Prime spring, summer, and fall dates typically book 9–18 months in advance. We recommend contacting our team as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
