Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in begins at 2 PM for RV guests and 4 PM for cottage guests. Checkout is at 12 PM.

Q: Is Newport Dunes a non-smoking resort?
A: Essentially yes. Our Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina does not allow smoking of any type in public areas of the property. Guests are ONLY permitted to smoke at their RV site.

Q: Do you offer laundry services?
A: Yes. We offer a self-serve laundry facility located adjacent to the Resort Pool Complex.

Q: What are the dining options on-property?
A: On weekends and during the summer season (from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day), our beachfront grill and bar Moe B’s Munchies is available for fresh sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, and handcrafted cocktails.

Q: Can non-resort guests purchase a day pass for the pool?
A: No. Our Resort Pool Complex and Poolside Cabanas are exclusively for resort guests only.

Q: Do you offer planned activities and events?
A: Yes. Our Moe B’s Friends program offers both kids and adult planned activities. We also host concerts, festivals, and other ticketed events. Click here to view our events calendar.

Q: Do you offer RV or boat storage?
A: Yes. We do offer long-term RV and Boat storage.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Due to COVID-19, we are waiving our cancellation fees for stays through June 30, 2022. We’d like to encourage people to keep their reservations and rebook for a later date.

Q: What is required upon check-in?

A: A state-issued photo identification or passport and a valid credit card to authorize for the full amount of your stay.

Q: Can I reserve a specific RV site or cottage?
A: Yes. You can certainly reserve a specific RV site or cottage based on availability. There is an extra charge and reservations must be made via the phone. Call 949-729-3863 for site-specific reservations. Other reservations can be made online.

Q: How do I arrange an early check-in or late checkout for my stay?
A: Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on the day of availability. Please call our reservations team or email us at to check on availability. Any arrivals after 10 p.m. are considered late arrivals. Late RV arrivals must camp in our main parking lot for the night. For cottage late arrivals, keys and check-in information will be held for you at the front gate.

Q: Do you have ADA cottages?
A: Yes. We have ADA-accessible cottages available. Please contact us at to make arrangements.

Q: How many guests can I have in the room?
A: Maximum occupancy per RV site or cottage is six (6) people.

Q: Do you allow tent camping?
A: Yes, we allow tent camping in our Small RV Sites.

Q: Do your RV sites include full hook-ups?
A: Yes. All of our RV sites come with full hook-ups.

Q: Do you have pull-through sites?
A: No. Most of our RV sites are back-in only. However, we do offer a couple of beachfront RV sites that are pull-in sites.

Transportation & Directions
Q: Is the resort located on the beach?
A: Yes. We are located on 110 acres of beach in the Back Bay.

Q: What are the cross streets?
A: We are located on the corner of Back Bay Drive and Jamboree.

Q: What are the parking options for resort guests?
A: Complimentary Parking is available for one (1) vehicle. Additional parking passes can be purchased for $25 per night for overnight guests.

Q: Is Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort pet-friendly?
A: Yes. Newport Dunes is proud to be the most affordable dog-friendly resort in Orange County, California. Please review our full pet policies.

Q: Is there a pet fee?
A: Yes. An affordable fee of $2 per day, $10 per week, or $30 a month will be charged per pet for all resort guests; the most affordable rate in Newport Beach.

Q: Is the beach open?

A: Yes. The beach is open from 6 AM to 10 PM daily.

Q: Is your property open?

A: YES. We are open.

Q: Are all the outlets open at Newport Dunes?

A: Yes as of now, all of our resort amenities are open:

  • Resort Pool Complex is open.
  • Watersports is open for the rental of kayaks, pedal boats, and stand-up paddleboards.
  • The market is open daily.
  • The fitness center is temporarily closed.
  • The Poolside Clubhouse is temporarily closed.

Q: What are Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort’s procedures and policies related to Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

A: Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina intends to safeguard our guests and our team from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure we are prepared, supported, and trained effectively to work in this new environment. Our team has established an action plan to ensure responsible operations at the resort and make sufficient resources available to ensure that this plan complies with state guidelines and can be implemented effectively and quickly.

We are continuously monitoring the situation and complying with the recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials. Additionally, we have enhanced our already stringent cleanliness and hygiene standards and policies.

Your getaway will look a little different, but one thing that will always remain is a diverse, welcoming atmosphere that inspires amazing memories with family, friends, community, colleagues, and the environment.
