Daycation in Newport Beach

What a Way to Spend a Day

It’s no secret that vacations are awesome. But between work, family, and social events, it can be difficult to find the time to sneak away—even for just a weekend. This is why Newport Dunes is glad to offer the latest travel trend, DAYCATIONS.

The concept is pretty simple. Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort welcomes the public to utilize many of the resort amenities without reserving a cottage or camping overnight. Enjoy living like a local along the Back Bay.

Resort Amenities Open to the Public

Watersports Rentals

Make the most out of your visit. Rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and explore the Back Bay. Perhaps you want to take it up a notch and reserve one of our new 21-foot Duffy boats for a cruise along the bay. Available Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.

Pirate Playground

Ahoy Matie! Kids love playing in the sand at our Pirates Playground. Pilot the ship, ring the bell, climb all about, and slide down the tube. There fun things for various aged children.

We also offer swings and a giant blue Moe B the Whale on the sand to climb on.

Public Beach

Bring your beach chairs, umbrellas, floats and beach toys and come enjoy the public beach with calm waters to entice a dip.
