Fire & Lights Festival

Due to inclement weather, the Fire & Lights Festival will be closed for the remainder of the season. We hope you have a wonderful New Year!

Join us throughout the holiday season for the Fire and Lights Festival at Newport Dunes! In addition to our 35th Annual Lighting of the Bay, we will have festive concessions, photos with Santa, fire dancer performances, Inflatables & toboggan tunnel, fire pits, and other fun activities for the whole family Thursday through Sunday evenings! Every night at dusk, our serene, waveless bay will transform into a vibrant winter wonderland featuring more than fifty holiday light displays floating on the bay.

While you are here, pay a visit to Santa’s Garden offering a hand-picked selection of farm-fresh trees from Oregon. Varieties include Noble, Nordmann, Natural, and Douglas. The lot receives weekly deliveries of fresh trees. Wreaths and garlands, too.

Fire & Lights Festival festivities will be open Thursday through Sunday evenings 4 pm – 9 pm. Closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Free entry. Paid parking. Inflatables & concessions are an extra cost. Fire pits, fire dancer shows, and meeting Santa are all free of charge.

There will be no ice rink this year.

The Lighting of the Bay is free for the public to enjoy throughout the season and lit nightly. The Fire & Lights Festival is free entry and open to the public Friday, November 28 through January 4, 2026 (Thursday – Sunday evenings).
