Bring out the red, white, and blue for the 4th of July, as we celebrate Independence Day on the Back Bay! Our annual celebration will bring you a day full of life music, food and drinks, activities, water sports, and Southern California’s largest fireworks celebration, co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach.

Stage will be located past Pavilion C at the horseshoe near the food trucks and full bar!

Food Trucks include: Salt N Pepper, Drizzle, Kettle Corn King, Italian BBQ, Money Business Cafe, Sabroso BBQ, Foodilicious, Mom’s Kitchen, and Kiki’s Cuban.
Newport Dunes Inflatable Water Park & Water Sports
Time: 10 am – 5 pm
Rent Kayaks, Pedal boats, Standup Paddleboards, or one of our 21-foot electric Duffy boats (seat up to 8 people). Have a blast at our Inflatable Water Park. Advance reservations are recommended for all water sports. Click here to reserve online! Rentals are an additional cost.
Marketplace
Time: 8 am – 10 pm (closed during Fireworks show)
The Marketplace sells snacks, drinks, souvenirs, sunscreen, beach supplies, and more.
Parking Admission
Advanced parking in the main lot off Jamboree is sold out. Limited day-of for $50 in a further and unpaved lot. Based on availability. Enter at the intersection on PCH/North Bayside Drive.
By purchasing a Parking Pass, you have read and agreed to the terms listed above; our Resort Policies; and the City of Newport Beach’s event regulations. No refunds or exceptions will be granted.
Portable BBQs, fire pits, and grills of any kind are PROHIBITED on the beach or grass areas by the City of Newport Beach. ILLEGAL FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED. Violators may be fined up to $3,000. Don’t let a costly violation ruin your 4th of July and help protect the environment. Alcohol and pets are also not permitted on the beach.
RV & Cottage Reservations for Next Year’s 4th of July Week
Reservations for the following year’s 4th of July Week will begin promptly at 8:00 AM on July 5. Reservations can only be made by phone. We recommend you call at 8:00 AM sharp; we anticipate a long wait time due to processing.
