Independence Day on the Back Bay – Tunes at the Dunes ft. The Class

Join our annual Independence Day on the Back Bay celebration. Come enjoy live entertainment on the Back Bay and an epic firework show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach. The Class brings their high energy and style, playing everything from oldies, to classic rock, pop, country, 80’s, top 40, Motown & more!

The beach is the perfect backdrop for a great time full of music, fireworks, and holiday fun. Bring your floats or beach chairs. Admission to the event is free and paid parking is available. See below for more parking details.

• Live Entertainment – 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Parking

On July 4, 2024, Newport Dunes’ Independence Day on the Back Bay celebration is $100 pre-paid reserved parking in our main paved lot (located off Jamboree & Back Bay Drive). THIS PARKING IS SOLD OUT.

Day-of parking will also be available for $50 in a further, unpaved lot (enter off Bayside Drive & Pacific Coast Highway). This lot is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach area. Day-of parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and fills up quickly. We recommend arriving early.

We have plenty of bicycle parking.
